ACI Appauds Senate for Passage of Flood Insurance Extension

Today, the Senate just passed a flood insurance extension for 60 days.  While this comes after a string of extensions, this time, sides appear closer to taking steps to put this program on actuarily sound terms.  The current goverment program is $18 billion in the red.  Hopefully, this extension will finally lead to a resolution that is financially sound and protects consumers on the coast, while protecting taxpayers.
