Today, a large coalition of industry experts and think tanks sent a letter to Senator John Thune asking him to continue his opposition to the Department of Defense’s attempt to own and build a national 5G network. The letter cites, among other things, that the private sector is already building this network, and that this waste of taxpayer funds will ultimately delay the rollout of 5G services to consumers.

The letter was also sent to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Director of the United States National Economic Council Larry Kudlow, and Chief Technology Officer of the United States Michael Kratsios, and it is available online.
