The Koch Associate Program (KAP) is a career accelerator for early to mid-career professionals with a drive to tackle our country’s most pressing challenges in more effective, principled ways. KAP equips associates with the tools, mindsets, and community to succeed as social entrepreneurs—individuals excited to find new and better ways to break barriers and eliminate injustice. Associates spend one day each week engaging in experiential learning with Stand Together Fellowships and work at one of our many partner organizations the rest of the week. Our curriculum is designed to supercharge your development and equip you for long-term success as you seek to have an impact on the problems that prevent people from realizing their potential.
The American Consumer Institute Center for Citizen Research (ACI) is an educational and research institute with a mission to promote economic welfare by improving the understanding and impact that public policies and regulations have on consumers in a free market.
At the American Consumer Institute (ACI), we believe that Americans are facing challenges sometimes caused by questionable public policy and regulations that raise industry costs – both of which lead to higher consumer prices and fewer choices for consumers. We serve as an academic voice for consumers. Our goal is to build awareness, survey consumer attitudes on public policy issues, facilitate discussion, and offer research-based solutions that have the best interest of consumers in mind.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Director of Communications in the preparation of external communication materials, including factsheets, articles, infographics, videos, press releases, statements, and other materials, customized for target key audiences such as government employees, other think tanks, foundations, NGOs, civil society, private sector.
- Assist with social media content management.
- Research events, publications, and announcements, to track and screen opportunities for possible ACI engagement and identify trends that will drive partnership opportunities.
- A strong existing social media network is preferred.
- Skills in Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro or online digital creation tools are also preferred.
