Arlington, VA – The American Consumer Institute (ACI) is happy to report that it has signed a coalition letter to the Federal Reserve offering comment on a November Insurance Capital Standard report. ACI believes any reforms to existing insurance standards and regulations that impact U.S. insurers and taxpayers should occur at the local level and involve state legislative bodies. They do not need initial approval by international and semi-governmental organizations that provide little public disclosure and are not directly accountable to the American people.
