Arlington, VA–The American Consumer Institute (ACI) released a summary of its work in 2025, underscoring a year marked by robust research production, active policy engagement, and a growing public presence focused on consumer-centered economic policy.
Throughout the year, ACI published a wide range of original research and commentary addressing key issues such as regulatory policy, competition, healthcare, energy markets, labor dynamics, and emerging technologies. These efforts translated complex economic analysis into accessible insights for policymakers, media, and the public, ensuring consumer perspectives remained central in ongoing policy debates.
ACI also maintained a strong presence in the policymaking process, submitting formal input to federal and state agencies and collaborating with allied organizations to advance shared priorities. Institute experts engaged directly with public officials and congressional staff, providing research-driven analysis to inform legislative and regulatory decision-making.
In parallel, ACI expanded its reach through media engagement and public outreach. Institute experts were featured in interviews, cited by third parties, and participated in public discussions across a variety of platforms. ACI also leveraged digital content and video to broaden access to its policy insights beyond traditional audiences.
Taken together, ACI’s work in 2025 reflects its continued commitment to evidence-based policymaking, market-oriented solutions, and a clear focus on how government actions affect everyday consumers. As the Institute looks ahead, it remains dedicated to promoting policies that foster competition, innovation, and affordability.
